Consortium Project Development Manager – Ramallah

About the Position

Acted is seeking a Consortium Project Development Manager for our team in Ramallah. This role focuses on proposal development, grant management, and donor relations, aligning with our mission to create a 3Zero World – Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, and Zero Poverty.

Responsibilities

Positioning and Fundraising

  • Context Analysis: Conduct donor analysis for forecasting future funding directions.
  • Strategy Development: Support the development of a Consortium donor funding strategy.
  • External Relations: Maintain active and regular working relationships with Consortium partners.
  • Proposal Development: Manage and coordinate all Partner inputs for proposals and reports.
  • Contracting: Support the negotiation of proposals and/or contracts with donors.

Grant Management

  • Contract Follow-up: Ensure that contractual obligations and reporting deadlines are met.
  • Reporting: Oversee the development of quality narrative reports.
  • Partner Follow-up: Liaise with partners to develop and sign relevant grant agreements.
  • Filing: Implement a filing system for contractual project documents.

External Communication

  • Donor Updates: Oversee informal updates to donors on projects.

Requirements

  • Education: Master Level in International Relations, Development, or Political Science.
  • Experience: Previous experience in humanitarian field, proposal development, grants management, and donor relations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and creatively in a multicultural context.
    • Team management and coordination skills.

We Offer

  • Salary: €2900 - €3100 monthly (before income tax).
  • Allowances: Monthly living allowance of $300, housing allowance up to 75% of Acted benchmark.
  • Benefits: Pension, health insurance, life insurance, repatriation assistance, flight tickets every 6 months, visa fees covered, luggage transportation up to 100 kgs.
  • Leave: Annual leave of 25 to 43 days per year.
  • Training: One week pre-departure training in Acted HQ, including security training.
  • Support: Tax advice, psychological assistance.
