Constructability Engineer

About the Position

Técnicas Reunidas (TR) is a leading international engineering and construction company for the Oil & Gas sector, specializing in the design, construction, and management of industrial plants worldwide. We participate in projects related to hydrogen, biomass, biofuels, decarbonization, artificial intelligence, and digitalization.

We are seeking a junior Constructability Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation and management of the Constructability Program in projects (EPC, EPCm, FEED, etc), ensuring the integration of constructability criteria in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases.

• Lead multidisciplinary coordination to identify construction constraints and define optimal execution strategies, including construction sequences, logistics, and heavy lifting activities.

• Manage and supervise the constructability team, including the designation and coordination of the Constructability Coordinator.

• Organize and lead constructability workshops, and manage key system tools such as Checklists, Logs, and Lessons Learned.

• Review technical documentation and supplier deliverables from a constructability perspective, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

• Contribute to cost, schedule, and productivity optimization through the application of value engineering and early risk identification.

• Prepare and report on the constructability status to Project Management and ensure the correct implementation of agreed actions throughout the project lifecycle.

Tools

• Navisworks, AutoCAD, SmartPlant (or equivalent).
• Document Management: Documentum, corporate platforms.
• Planning and Control: Advanced Excel (tracking, analysis).
• Constructive Management: Constructability tools (checklists, logs, LLAA).
• Collaboration: MS Office, Teams, and corporate reporting.

Requirements

• High level of English, both spoken and written.
