About the Role

To strengthen its Data & AI division, the Information Systems Department of our client is looking for a Data Engineer specialized in Databricks, under the responsibility of the Data Technical Manager.

Main Missions

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines on Databricks to meet business needs.
Automate the ingestion, processing, and storage of data using Big Data technologies (Spark, Delta Lake, etc.).
Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to ensure data quality and availability.
Maintain and evolve Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
Document processes and train users on Databricks best practices.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

Graduated from an engineering school or holding a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with proven expertise in Databricks and Big Data ecosystems.

Technical Skills

Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, Notebooks)
Languages: Python, SQL, Scala
Tools: Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory (or AWS/Google Cloud equivalent)
Best Practices: CI/CD, management of structured and unstructured data

Personal Qualities

Autonomy and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Rigor in data and process management
Analytical mindset to solve complex problems
Pedagogical skills to support business users
