Consultant Digital Strategy (m/f/d)

OMMAX GmbH, a leading digital strategy consultancy based in Europe, is seeking a Consultant Digital Strategy to join our team in München, Germany. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the digital future for our clients, working closely with founders and partners to create real value by linking strategy and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy, transformation, and implementation projects for B2B and B2C clients across various industries and business functions.
• Work directly with clients to structure challenges, identify growth and efficiency opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Analyze markets, customers, competitors, business models, processes, organizational set-ups, technology, data, and performance.
• Contribute to growth and go-to-market topics, as well as cost reduction, process optimization, and operating model improvement.
• Support AI strategy and transformation projects by assessing use cases, researching opportunities, and helping define roadmaps and implementation priorities.
• Coordinate project delivery with internal experts across strategy, data, technology, AI, marketing, and implementation.
• Track project outcomes, measure success, and use data to identify practical optimization steps.
• Turn findings into management presentations, business cases, decision documents, and client reports.
• Support client workshops and stakeholder engagements and help ensure clear communication across client and internal projects.
• Contribute to business development and proposal activities.

Requirements

• Excellent university degree in business, economics, computer science, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Initial professional experience in strategy consulting, digital strategy, digital transformation, AI, or a related field.
• Interest in digital technologies, AI, and data-driven business transformation and understanding of their business value.
• Structured and analytical approach with a strong interest in technology and a creative mindset.
• Exposure to growth, go-to-market, commercial strategy, cost reduction, process optimization, or operating models is ideal.
• Very good PowerPoint and Excel skills and comfort working with quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Clear communication skills, confidence in working with clients, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to create tangible value for clients.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
