Description of the Position

Inetum Consulting is a strategy and transformation consulting firm. With a multidisciplinary team of 450 consultants, we are present in Europe (France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium) and Africa (Morocco).

Inetum Consulting supports companies and public organizations in their strategic projects around five major offerings: CIO Advisory, Sustainability, Data & GenAI, Transformation & Change, Corporate Functions Advisory.

As part of the development of our Financial Services practice, we are looking for a Senior Strategy and Transformation Consultant – Banking/Insurance, capable of supporting our retail banking, private banking, investment banking, and specialized institutions clients in their strategic, organizational, and operational transformation projects.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work on high-impact missions, in close collaboration with the Business, Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT & Operations Departments.

Responsibilities

Operational Execution and Mission Management

• Contribute to strategy, transformation, and performance improvement consulting missions.
• Participate in the definition and structuring of strategic roadmaps and transformation programs.
• Conduct organizational, operational, regulatory, or technological diagnostics.
• Design and formalize recommendations and target operating models (Target Operating Model).
• Lead certain transformation projects and coordinate stakeholders within the framework of missions.
• Produce high-value deliverables and ensure their quality.

Banking/Insurance Sector Expertise & Issues

• Address issues such as:
  • Digital transformation and modernization of customer journeys;
  • Regulatory compliance (DSP2, LCB-FT, Basel, IFRS, DORA, etc.);
  • Process optimization (credit, KYC/Onboarding, risk, operations);
  • Data, AI, and intelligent automation applied to banking businesses;
  • Performance management and evolution of organizational models.

Client Relationship & Development

• Contribute to client workshops and exchanges.
• Support client teams in the implementation of their transformations.
• Participate in the identification of business opportunities with existing clients.
• Contribute to responses to requests for proposals and the production of commercial proposals.

Contribution to the Firm's Life

• Participate in internal initiatives of the Financial Services practice (capitalization, monitoring, offerings, events).
• Support junior consultants in their skill development.
• Contribute to the promotion of Banking/Insurance expertise within the firm.

Qualifications

• You have 2 to 5 years of experience in a consulting firm or within a strategic direction / organization / banking transformation department.
• You are proficient in the banking sector issues: retail banking, private banking, risk, compliance, finance, middle/back-office, digital.
• You have led high-stakes transformation projects (strategy, organization, digital, data/AI, regulatory…).
• You are comfortable with mission management and client relationships.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Sense of results, rigor, and autonomy.
• Taste for challenge, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Ability to thrive in a demanding and growing environment.
