About the Position

Join OMMAX, the leading AI-first consultancy and AI-engineering platform, as a Consultant Tech Strategy. You will advise private equity firms, financial investors, and companies on Tech & Data Due Diligences in buy- and sell-side transactions. You will lead and support the conception and execution of technical and digital projects by analyzing requirements, defining functional specifications, and recommending best-fit solutions and implementation approaches.

Responsibilities

Advise on Tech & Data Due Diligences in buy- and sell-side transactions.
Lead and support the conception and execution of technical and digital projects.
Analyze requirements, define functional specifications, and recommend best-fit solutions and implementation approaches.
Assess software, system architectures, infrastructure, and development processes, and translate complex requirements into clear roadmaps (e.g., milestones, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) for delivery teams.
Identify growth potential and derive performance optimization measures, including the design of target operating models, investment assessments, and value creation opportunities for portfolio companies.
Manage stakeholder communication and ensure effective collaboration between clients, development teams, and internal stakeholders, while taking ownership of project timelines, budgets, and delivery.
Prepare and present business, market, and technology insights, lead workshops and meetings, develop interactive demos, and contribute to thought leadership (e.g., whitepapers, research initiatives).

Requirements

Strong university degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, IT, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in technology consulting, transaction advisory, digital transformation, or technical project delivery, ideally within a consulting or M&A environment.
Solid understanding of software development, system architecture, infrastructure, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), as well as familiarity with agile methodologies.
Ideally, hands-on experience in software development and/or machine learning.
Strong analytical skills in evaluating complex, technology-driven business models and understanding the impact of technology on scalability and product-market fit.
Excellent communication skills, a collaborative and service-oriented mindset, and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
