About the Position

Wavestone is seeking a Consultant in Public Sector Transformation to join our team. You will work on major digital transformation projects for public administrations, supporting them in their strategic transformations.

Responsibilities

• Project Framing and Management: Lead digital transformation projects for public action, assessing operational, organizational, financial, human, and IT impacts.
• Organizational and Operational Performance Diagnostics: Reengineer, optimize, and automate processes, manage internal controls, and mitigate risks.
• Strategy and Service Design: Define IT strategies and master plans, design digital services, improve user/agent journeys, and modernize IT systems.
• Data/AI Strategy: Establish data governance, identify priority use cases, and advise on technology acquisition and deployment (Cloud, AI, IoT).
• Internal Contributions: Contribute to business development, participate in industry events, conduct sector and technology monitoring, and author expert publications.

Requirements

• Education & Experience:

  • Bac +5 (Grande École d’Ingénieur, de Management, or IEP).
  • Certification (Leading SAFe, Safe PO/PM, Scrum PO, Prince 2, Green/Black Belt) or technical proficiency (Python, R, Julia) is highly desirable.

• Profile:

  • Passion for the Public Sector, its challenges, and a desire to support its modernization.
  • Strong interest in technological topics (AI, Cloud, Data) and their role in modernizing public action.
  • Consulting and transformation problem-solving skills, excellent analytical and synthesis abilities.
  • Ability to work in project mode and with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building trust with demanding clients and guiding them from project framing to deployment.
  • Proactive, capable of taking initiatives to advance personal and team skills (certified training, monitoring, innovation).
