As a Consulting Manager (m/f/d) Data & AI Strategy, you will act as a trusted sparring partner for executives, steer complex, cross-functional transformation programs, and drive large-scale organizational change.

Your Main Tasks:

• Leading AI Transformation Programs: You will manage end-to-end implementation - from focused short projects in the mid-market to multi-phase transformations in large corporations. You will identify internal promoters and take stakeholders along, overcome hurdles, and ensure measurable acceptance and organizational change.
• Strategy & AI Use Case Scoping: You will work closely with C-level stakeholders to answer business-critical questions: How does AI change the business model? What does the appropriate data governance look like? You will provide strategic advice but also help with model selection and assess technical feasibility.
• Driving Business Growth: You will actively drive the growth of our German practice group. With entrepreneurial energy, you will take responsibility for lead generation and pipeline conversion by approaching potential clients, designing tailored proposals, and strategically developing our key accounts.
• Thought Leadership & Market Presence: You will position Artefact as the go-to partner for Enterprise AI. Whether through expert discussions, content on LinkedIn, or whitepapers - you will share pragmatic insights on current AI trends (e.g., Agentic AI) and real implementation paths.
• Developing the Practice Group: You will develop our methods, tools, and frameworks to ensure our offerings remain cutting-edge. You will design reusable transformation playbooks and directly contribute your strategic know-how or industry knowledge.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring: You will be a mentor and role model: You will lead and coach agile, hybrid project teams (consultants, data scientists, and engineers) and foster a dynamic "Can-Do" culture.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience in management consulting, the tech industry, or a dynamic environment (e.g., leading startups or boutique consultancies). A track record in implementing data, analytics, or AI projects is a must.
• Transformation & Change Management: Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional transformation programs and the ability to confidently navigate corporate environments and executive levels, embedding AI competencies sustainably in client organizations.
• AI Understanding & "Builder Mindset": You don't need to be a full-time developer, but you should have a deep, practical understanding of modern AI architectures (e.g., LLM-assisted workflows, Agentic AI, Generative AI) and best practices for AI evaluation. You can credibly demonstrate AI concepts and competently discuss data protection issues.
• Analytical & Technical Acumen: Solid knowledge of common machine learning methods, cloud architectures, and data management principles. Excellent quantitative skills to derive strategic insights from complex data sets.
• Communication & Presence: Outstanding communication, presentation, and moderation skills. You possess a strong presence and can translate complex technical topics into compelling arguments for non-technical senior management and bridge the gap to technical implementation teams.
• Education: An excellent academic background (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration, Economics, (Business) Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative field.
• Language Skills: Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is mandatory to successfully advise our clients.
• Formalities: A valid work permit for Germany.
