About the Position

East Europe Foundation is announcing a contest for the position of Program Coordinator for the support of programs led by the organization. The role is based in Kyiv, Ukraine and will operate in a hybrid work format.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and Announcing Activities of the Program/Project:

    • Familiarization with the project plan and formation of an activity schedule according to the goals of the project.
    • Planning and preparation of events for members (training sessions, meetings in “morning coffee” format, mentoring support, etc), cooperation with the project team.
    • Search for trainers/experts according to the assigned project theme, work with the current trainer database of the Foundation.
    • Organizing ratings for the Foundation team.
  • Communication and Work with Program Team:

    • Regular communication with event members through messenger applications (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc), writing communication, phone calls.
    • Support for the mentoring and educational content.
  • Organization and Control of External Processes:

    • Search, selection (if necessary) and control of the work of contractors and logisticians involved in the organization and conduct of events.
    • Preparation of agreements/contracts/technical assignments with executors of the program activities.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Participation in the monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of the program.
    • Organization of ongoing monitoring visits and donor visits (development of the itinerary, coordination with host organizations, organization of accommodation and meals for the monitoring group).
  • Development and Support of Additional Instruments:

    • Close coordination with the project team and representatives of the Foundation.
    • Participation in development of educational courses.
    • Participation in development of merchandise.
  • Reporting:

    • Participation in preparation of program reports.

Requirements

  • Higher education (social studies, management, economics, or similar qualifications).
  • Work experience in an analogical or administrative field from 1 year (in non-governmental organizations will be an advantage).
  • Basic knowledge in the project management field.
  • Experience in the preparation of reports, organizing events, leading communication with partners.
  • Fluency in the Ukrainian language, English also preferred.
  • Responsible, organized, communicable, able to work with a team.
