About the Position
Contract Associate Manager
At Accenture, we are modern contract managers - commercially driven, technology-enabled, and focused on delivering measurable value for our clients and our business.
Our Contract Management team is a strategic discipline at the intersection of commercial insight, risk management, client relationships, and business value creation. We do more than manage contractual obligations: we shape decisions, anticipate challenges, protect value, and drive successful outcomes across the contract lifecycle.
Working closely with business leadership, corporate functions, and client stakeholders, Contract Managers play a critical role in navigating complexity and translating contractual frameworks into practical business solutions. We integrate digital transformation, AI-enabled solutions, analytics, and automation into how we work. Our teams apply continuous learning to improve efficiency, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and focus effort where it has the greatest impact.
From deal shaping and negotiation support to governance, change management, and issue resolution, our focus is on enabling data-informed decisions and delivering sustainable value to our stakeholders with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Guide and lead CM across accounts: Lead industry-standard CM activity across one or more projects or accounts within a technology-enabled framework, ensuring alignment to standard Contract Management processes, obligations, and commercial objectives.
- Protect value: Protect margin and identify commercial opportunities; use tools and data to focus effort where it matters most.
- Own risk identification and mitigation: Enable identification, assessment, escalation, and mitigation of contractual, commercial, and operational risk across the contract lifecycle.
- Lead a technology- and data-led approach: Champion usage of data insights and AI-enabled tools across the full contract lifecycle; actively adopt new tools and ways of working to deliver measurable impact.
- Establish an impactful governance role: Apply structured governance - performance monitoring, dependency tracking, change control - and take a visible, impactful role surfacing and escalating risk early.
- Translate contract into clear guidance: Turn contractual and commercial positions into clear, actionable guidance that supports sound client and internal decisions.
- Engage in pre-award activity: Contribute deal-shaping advisory, drafting, review, and negotiation support on contract documents, including subcontracts and NDAs, alongside legal, finance, and business stakeholders.
- Develop others and build relationships: Mentor and provide day-to-day direction to junior resources and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Commercial & Leadership:
- Experience supporting account governance, contract reporting, or performance management in complex or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience mentoring or directing junior resources and supporting pre-award deal activity, negotiations, or proposals.
- Comfortable working across cross-cultural teams and time zones.
- Technology & Growth:
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and solutions; adopts and applies new technology to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Evidence of a continuous-learning mindset. Professional membership (e.g., WorldCC, NCMA) a plus.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract or commercial management; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience owning contract lifecycle activity - drafting, review, risk identification, and governance support; negotiates and communicates clearly with stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Professional membership in WorldCC, NCMA, or equivalent.
We Offer
- Opportunity to work in a leading global company.
- Be part of a team that values diversity and inclusion.
- Professional growth and development opportunities.
- Competitive benefits package.
