Salary: £65,000 to £85,000 per annum

The Opportunity

An established and forward-thinking organization is seeking a Senior Data Architect to join their high-performing Architecture & Strategy function. This key role is responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide data architecture to support critical business operations, analytics, and decision-making.

You'll play a central role in designing scalable, secure, and future-ready data solutions across a complex environment, working closely with senior stakeholders to align technical delivery with strategic priorities.


Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the organization's data architecture framework.
  • Design and integrate data solutions across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Lead data modelling, data flows, and system interoperability initiatives.
  • Drive best practice in data governance, metadata, and quality standards.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business teams to deliver value.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data management standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a senior data-focused role.
  • Strong background in data modelling, integration, and architecture frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Data governance & metadata management
    • Enterprise architecture principles
    • Regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly.
