As a Senior Software Engineer at YLD, you’ll be part of a client team building innovative products. We’re looking for someone curious, passionate, driven, and enthusiastic. Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures
• Collaborate with client teams to build innovative products
• Write, test, and maintain Kubernetes operators and controllers in Golang
• Own and review Terraform modules that provision clusters
• Utilize hands-on AWS experience and other cloud providers if applicable
• Understand distributed systems, including consistency models, replication, consensus, and network partitions
• Work comfortably with AI tools, reviewing their output and adopting new technologies where they add value
• Experience in regulated or financial systems is a plus

Requirements

• Deep Kubernetes knowledge, including the API, controllers, scheduling, and networking
• Solid experience with Golang, to the level where you can write, test, and maintain a Kubernetes operator
• Proficiency with Terraform, to the level where you own and review the modules that provision clusters
• Hands-on AWS experience is mandatory; experience with other cloud providers is a plus
• A working grasp of distributed systems: consistency models, replication, consensus, and network partitions
• Experience in regulated or financial systems
• Comfortable working with AI tools for most of your day, with the judgement to review their output and to adopt new technologies where they add value
