Copywriter - SEO Content Optimization

About the Position

We are looking for a part-time Copywriter to join our team and focus on SEO Content Optimization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing consistently, is comfortable working independently, and can reliably deliver high-quality content updates on an ongoing basis. You will work remotely with a popular rewards platform that motivates people to sign up for different products and services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all messaging aligns with the brand’s tone and overall communication style.
• Optimize and update existing blog posts, landing pages, and website content to improve SEO performance and search visibility.
• Improve content structure, headings, and internal linking based on SEO best practices.
• Rewrite content to better align with keywords and search intent.
• Support ongoing content refreshes and optimization initiatives focused on organic growth.
• Assist with various copy needs that arise across the team.
• Provide copy support for larger campaigns and product-focused initiatives.
• Work closely with the marketing team to prioritize SEO-focused content updates and ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in occasional content planning and review discussions with the marketing team.

Requirements

• Experience creating and optimizing B2C content for websites, blogs, or landing pages, with a strong focus on SEO-driven content.
• Experience with SEO content optimization and on-page SEO basics.
• Ability to improve existing content based on keywords and search intent.
• Understanding of how content performance impacts organic traffic and growth.
• Comfortable working with consumer-focused topics such as personal finance, extra income opportunities, mobile apps, or digital platforms.
• Interested in performance-driven and UX-focused content with a strong emphasis on organic growth.
• Able to write clearly and adjust your tone to fit the brand’s style.
• Strong attention to detail, good organization skills, and steady follow-through on deadlines.
• Comfortable working with feedback and refining work through multiple drafts.
• Enjoys communicating ideas in a simple, engaging, and user-focused way.
