About the Role
As a Corporate Accountant (all genders), you will ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of consolidated financial statements according to HGB. You will continuously develop our consolidation processes and act as a communicative interface between our international subsidiaries and the headquarters. With your structured approach and perseverance, you will significantly contribute to the advancement of our Group Accounting.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Continuous development and optimization of consolidation processes and tools (Lucanet, Excel, proALPHA)
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in Group Accounting
- Point of contact for international subsidiaries on accounting issues and the introduction of new accounting standards
- Collaboration in the preparation and audit of the consolidated financial statements and coordination with auditors
- Close cooperation with the Accounting and Controlling team at headquarters and our international locations
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in group accounting or auditing
- Solid knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., proALPHA) and consolidation tools (ideally Lucanet)
- Structured and independent working style
- Team player with strong communication skills and intercultural competence
- High degree of self-motivation, goal orientation, and persistence in information gathering
- Very good German and English language skills in speech and writing
