British American Tobacco México has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Legal Intern in Monterrey/ Punto Valle

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the Contract Lifecycle Management tool, ensuring all contracts are on board, accessible and up to date.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts across various functions.
• Work with legal and business teams to ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
• Act as a business partner between Legal and other business units, fostering effective communication and alignment on legal matters.
• Identify opportunities to streamline legal processes, reduce risks and enhance efficiency through creative legal solutions.
• Analyse laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide recommendations and insights that mitigate legal risks and promote compliance.
• Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation.
• Provide legal support and assistance to the legal team as needed, including preparing legal documents, presentations, and reports.

Requirements

• Advanced student pursuing a degree in Law, International Relations, or Economics.
• Projected graduation date of 2028 or later.
• Intermediate–advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong organization, responsibility and proactivity.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, DocuSign (desirable).
• Availability to work onsite at Punto Valle.
