About the Position
We are seeking a Cost and Contract Manager for a prominent international real estate firm in Singapore, focusing on cost optimization and contractual compliance.
Responsibilities
- Direct the complete project lifecycle commercial management, focusing on pre-contract risk reduction, post-contract expenditure monitoring, and complex claims mitigation.
- Supervise the comprehensive evaluation of tendering documentation to isolate financial liabilities and structure robust cost analysis for corporate bidding submissions.
- Manage industrial variations registers, analyze extensions of time, and conduct forensic assessments of loss and expense or liquidated damage submissions.
- Formulate detailed cash flow projections, track regional budget allocations, and implement rigorous cost control measures to maintain target financial margins.
- Align commercial strategy with field operations by advising cross-functional project teams on contract interpretations and the financial impacts of scope variations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant fields.
- 10 years experience in commercial operations or contract management, with at least 5 years operating at a management tier.
- Documented background within engineering consultancy, project management environments, or international construction groups.
- Active competence across both pre-and post-contract life cycles, including forensic investigation of project delays, claims substantiation, and entitlement reviews.
- Strong engagement capabilities to negotiate complex variations with external stakeholders and draft formal contractual correspondences independently.
We Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from S$8,000 to S$10,000 per month.
