About the Position
Country Transparency and Compliance Officer – N’Djamena
Acted is seeking a Country Transparency and Compliance Officer for N’Djamena to ensure adherence to guidelines and regulations, manage risks, and support audits.
Responsibilities

Internal Audit Function
- Participate in the implementation of the approved national internal audit plan.
- Conduct internal audit missions through a risk management approach.
- Implement Acted standard guidelines and FLAT System at the capital, area, and partner levels.
- Contribute to controlling compliance with country rules and regulations.
- Provide support to mitigate high risks identified.

External Audit
- Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of external audits and due diligences.

Training Sessions / Lessons Learned / Best Practices
- Capacity building and training.
- Lessons learned.
- Process improvement.

Transparency
- Participate in minimizing the risk of fraud and corruption by ensuring adherence to Acted FLATS procedures, Acted Code of Conduct, and Acted Anti-Fraud Policy.

Internal Coordination
Requirements
- Postgraduate diploma in Audit, Finance, International Relations, Law, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of previous work experience in Audit (external and/or internal), Finance, Logistics, Administration, or Law.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility, dynamism, and autonomy.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
- Experience in management and training is a plus.
We Offer
- Salary between €1600 and €1800 monthly (before income tax), depending on the level of education, security level, etc.
- Monthly living allowance of $300.
- Accommodation and food provided in Acted guesthouse.

- Flight tickets every 6 months & visa fees covered.
- Contribution to luggage transportation: up to 100 kgs, depending on the length of the contract.
- Annual leave of 25 to 43 days per year.
- One week pre-departure training in Acted HQ, including a 4-day in situ security training.
