Creative Director - 6-Month Contract, with Potential for Extension (Remote)

About the Position

Geotab is seeking a Creative Director for a 6-Month Contract, with Potential for Extension (Remote) in Oakville, Ontario. Join our team as a visionary leader and principal steward of the company's global visual brand identity system.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern the global visual brand identity system.
• Direct the creative strategy for global campaigns and flagship events.
• Lead the internal Creative Services team to ensure consistent excellence and maximum brand impact worldwide.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, the Global Marketing organization, external creative agencies, and freelance partners.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in graphic design, comprehensive brand identity development, and brand stewardship.
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing, mentoring, and coaching multi-disciplinary creative teams.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining complex, scalable brand identity systems for global organizations.
• Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of enterprise-level project management and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
• Proven ability to effectively lead, mentor, and coach a centralized, multi-disciplinary in-house creative team.
• Exceptional skill in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex creative and strategic problems.
• Strong communication skills to articulate creative rationale and defend strategic choices.
• Strong conflict resolution skills to manage differing opinions and promote positive, collaborative working relationships across departments.
