About the Position
We are working with a global digital communication agency in Tokyo. They have over 10 offices worldwide. Their clients are top-notch brands, such as an iconic sports apparel brand, renowned Japanese cosmetic brand, luxury gyms, etc. If you are someone who is tech-savvy, loves contributing to brands’ storytelling, and enjoy working in a multinational environment, this is a career opportunity for you.
They are looking for a Creative Director who is passionate about creating designs and delivering ideas with their storytelling. They believe that excellent designs must be innovative, adventurous, and eye-opening but also user-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of work meets the clients' expectations
- Lead and inspire the team of visual, verbal, and experience design specialists by providing guidance
- Juggle multiple projects at once and manage timelines
- Manage accounts by creating coherent designs to clients’ expectations and educating them on current marketing trends
- Plan a strategy and communicate the concepts with the clients and the internal team
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in web and advertising industries
- Leading the industries with creativity and conceptual work
- 2+ years’ experience leading a team as a Creative Director
- Ability to present a portfolio for the campaigns you oversaw
- Skillful in conceptual and visual design
- An excellent leader who is flexible, a multi-tasker, and serves as a mentor to junior team members
- Experience working with product and campaign work
- Confident at presenting to clients
- Team-player, proactive, and flexible
- Fits in the fast-paced and international setting
