About the Position

Creator Experience Senior Policy Analyst, YouTube

Join Google's Trust & Safety team as a Senior Policy Analyst for YouTube, focusing on creator experience and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Implement policy principles into actionable enforcement guidelines for our video rater pool.
• Review controversial and sometimes offensive video content to determine whether or not they’re brand safe.
• Manage escalations with a fast turn-around time to define and deliver the best action plan.
• Research and stay up to date on key trends and suspicious patterns in your policy area.
• Increase efficiency through automation, workflow streamlining, and system optimization.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust & Safety, or technology environment.
  • 2 years of experience working with Generative AI Agents.

• Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a policy-related role, focused on online content moderation or ancillary policy enforcement frameworks.
  • Experience in policy guideline scripting, incubation, and advanced testing.
  • Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of policy.
  • Advanced technical policy implementation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

We Offer

• Competitive salary: $136,000 - $197,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
• Opportunity to work in San Bruno, CA, USA or San Francisco, CA, USA.
