About the Position

CRO Specialist (Maternity Cover)

team.blue is an ecosystem of 60+ successful brands working together across 22 European countries to provide its 3.3 million SMB customers with everything they need to succeed online by offering best-in-class expertise and services.

This is a maternity cover expected to last at least 12 months. An extension may be possible depending on performance and team needs, but it can’t be guaranteed.

The CRO Specialist will support the Growth Optimisation team by designing, executing, and analysing conversion optimisation experiments across the team.blue brand portfolio, with a key focus on Websupport SK, Websupport CZ, Active24 CZ, Websupport HU and Magayar Hosting. The role is about finding out what works, proving it with data, and scaling what is proven across landing pages, funnels, forms, CTAs, pricing pages and key customer decision points.

As part of the Performance Pillar, CRO operates across regions and brands, supporting both paid and organic funnels with structured experimentation. It works in close collaboration with CX Integration on initiatives such as checkout flows, navigation and pricing pages.

This is a hands-on execution role. You will spend your time generating hypotheses, designing tests, implementing experiments, analysing results, and translating findings into scalable improvements.

Responsibilities

Experimentation & Execution

  • Design and execute A/B tests and experiments across landing pages, funnels, forms, CTAs and key conversion points, based on analytics data, user behaviour insights, funnel analysis and input from the Paid Media and SEO/GEO teams.
  • Build experiment variants in the A/B testing tool, either by implementing directly or by coordinating with CX Integration on builds, QA and deployment.
  • Ensure proper test setup, statistical validity, sample sizing, and clean documentation of every experiment.
  • Analyse results rigorously and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Implement winning variations and ensure learnings are scaled across relevant brands.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Paid Media Managers and Specialists on landing page testing priorities, ensuring paid campaigns have optimised conversion paths.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial, UX and Feature teams at CEE to drive optimisation for new product launches, commercial campaigns and cross-sell.
  • Represent CRO in cross-functional squads for segmentation and conversion initiatives.
  • Work with Organic Growth Specialists on funnel improvements, including blog-to-conversion paths, product page optimisation and pricing page performance.
  • Collaborate with Analytics to access performance data, validate experiment results, and identify high-impact testing opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Campaign Managers to align experiment timelines with campaign delivery schedules.
  • Brief CX Integration clearly on variant requirements, tracking needs, and QA criteria.

Analysis & Insight

  • Monitor conversion performance across assigned brands and proactively identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Analyse user behaviour using available tools (heatmaps, session recordings, funnel analysis, GA4, Bloomreach) to inform hypothesis generation.
  • Build and maintain an experiment log documenting hypotheses, test designs, results and learnings.
  • Contribute to Group-wide CRO playbooks, testing frameworks and best practice documentation.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of experiments; testing velocity matters as much as individual test outcomes.
  • Ensure all experiments meet quality standards for statistical rigour, clean implementation and accurate tracking.
  • Manage multi-brand testing workloads efficiently within sprint commitments.
  • Escalate technical blockers, platform limitations or resource constraints to the Growth Optimisation Manager.

Requirements

Must-haves

  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience running A/B tests end-to-end, with a working understanding of statistics (sample size, significance, peeking and false positives).
  • Experience with an A/B testing tool such as Bloomreach (our current tool), Optimizely, VWO, Convert, or any comparable tool.
  • Fluency in analytics and a behaviour tool (GA4, Bloomreach, Hotjar, Clarity or similar).
  • Fluent spoken and written English, as you will work across several markets and brands. Slovak, Czech, or Hungarian is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • HTML/CSS/JS for building variants.
  • Tag management.
  • Hosting/SaaS/e-commerce funnel experience.

We Offer

  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Be part of a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Contribute to the success of multiple European brands.
