About the Position
Cross Media Designer
Location: Leuven, Belgium
Type: Full-time, Hybrid
Department: Marketing & Communication
We are seeking a versatile and creative Cross Media Designer with a strong social media-first mindset to join our Marketing & Communication team in Leuven, Belgium. You will create engaging digital content and print materials that align with our brand identity and performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging motion graphics, animated visuals, and video edits optimized for social media (organic and paid)
- Design platform-native content (Reels, Stories, short-form ads, carousels) with strong attention to pacing, hooks, and mobile-first consumption
- Develop high-quality digital campaign assets (social visuals, display banners, landing visuals, email headers)
- Deliver print-ready materials, such as brochures, flyers, event materials, posters, and branded collateral
- Create easy-to-use, on-brand Canva templates for employee advocacy and local marketing teams
- Build scalable design systems and template libraries that ensure brand consistency while enabling agility
- Strictly follow and apply brand guidelines across all deliverables, ensuring consistency in tone, typography, and visual identity
- Collaborate closely with our digital marketers, automation specialist, community manager, and data analyst to align creative output with performance goals
- Contribute to creative ideation and iterate on assets based on campaign insights and performance data
- Explore how AI tools and emerging technologies can improve workflow and efficiency, while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship
Requirements
- Strong background in graphic design with excellent knowledge of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Proven experience in motion design, animated graphics, and video editing
- Experience creating content specifically for social media (organic and paid) with a strong understanding of formats and best practices
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience creating structured, brand-aligned Canva templates
- Knowledge of preparing files for professional print production
- Social-first mindset with a strong understanding of digital engagement principles
- Detail-oriented and structured, with high standards for finishing and quality
- Interested in business context and understanding target audiences to translate this knowledge into relevant creative output
- Interested in AI innovation while remaining critical and quality-driven
