About the Position
We are seeking a CS - Applications Engineer for our Hsinchu, Taiwan location. This role focuses on customer support and new product development in IC manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Escalation Support: Drives service order closure from a technical perspective.
- New Product / Service Development: Follows PGP standard tasks and identifies gaps in existing use-cases.
- New Product / Service Rollout: Coordinates customer rollout and beta tests, creating knowledge sharing material.
- Node Solution Definition: Executes analysis within a single competence/domain, combining inputs to make a consistent solution definition.
- Node Solution Integration: Combines inputs to create an execution plan, owning the sharing and execution of the integration plan.
- Coaching: Mentors new-hires on their first tasks.
- Training Delivery: Delivers and maintains intermediate and advanced training to colleagues and customers.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitates continuous knowledge exchange within the department and across different sectors.
- Operational Excellence: Signals and drives process improvements in own and other teams, focusing on both process and results.
- Business Support: Sets priorities based on internal and customer business within the scope of own expertise, executing complex product evaluations.
- Customer Demo: Leads the organization of demo projects, responsible for resource and machine planning.
- Data Analysis: Produces high-quality analysis from customer data to generate trusting relationships and access to more data, interpreting data analysis to demonstrate customer value.
Requirements
- MSc in technical fields.
- Solid relevant experience in an IC manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on lithography, patterning, overlay, imaging, focus, related to node/process control or development.
- Experience in customer contact/customer service role.
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment while maintaining focus on customer goals and relationships.
- Fluent-level English and Python.
- Experience with Matlab.
