About the Position
We are seeking a Custom Digital Circuit Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to design and optimize high-speed logic gates for AMS macros in Hyderabad, India.
Responsibilities
- Design custom high-speed logic gates for Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) macros using full-custom digital techniques.
- Optimize circuits for timing, performance, power, and area (PPA) targets.
- Analyze and debug transistor-level STA runs, timing reports, and functional issues.
- Perform QA checks to ensure design consistency, correctness, and sign-off readiness.
- Create design views and maintain clear functional and technical documentation.
Requirements
Must have
- 2-3 years of experience
- Strong understanding of transistor behavior and digital gate characteristics.
- Proficiency in AMS and high-speed custom digital circuit design.
- Hands-on experience with HSPICE simulations, transistor-level STA, and Cadence Virtuoso (schematics/layout).
- Working knowledge of layout techniques for custom design implementation.
- Strong automation skills using Shell/Perl/Tcl/Python.
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
