Customer Engagement Representative

About the Position

Peraton is seeking a Customer Engagement Representative in our Linthicum, MD office in support of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer as part of a highly talented, highly motivated, and high-performing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cyber investigations, digital forensics, cyber threat analysis, and mission support in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute to protecting national security interests by leveraging technical expertise, analytical skills, and innovative problem-solving to address complex cyber challenges.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational liaison between the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) partners and our Department of Defense (DoD) customer.
• Support the onboarding, communication, engagement, and overall relationship management with DIB partners.
• Ensure that partners have access to relevant information, resources, and training to support their cybersecurity efforts.
• Manage partner relationships and support various outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: Associate's degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience; OR Master’s Degree and 6+ years of experience; OR 3+ years with PhD. However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Extensive experience in customer engagement, partner relationship management, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, preferably Salesforce.
• Experience with creating marketing and outreach materials, including infographics and social media content.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills to manage user accounts and access to systems.
• Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools to track and present engagement metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience planning and facilitating events, both in-person and virtual.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with government or defense-related organizations.
• Familiarity with the Defense Industrial Base.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.

We Offer

• Salary: $104,000 - $166,000 per year.
