Customer Journey Expert | IPA Market Data @ING Hubs Romania

Join ING Hubs Romania as a Customer Journey Expert in IPA Market Data, focusing on financial markets and risk management. This role is pivotal in connecting clients to global markets, providing financial solutions, and delivering lasting value.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Trading Risk Management, Front Office Traders, and Front Office Quants to gather requirements and improve FMGT’s Market Data infrastructure.
• Support Trading Risk Management in their role as Market Data Steward with system-specific implementation details.
• Contribute to building a roadmap, spanning across different departments and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, focusing on understanding their challenges and opportunities.
• Maximize business value by providing clear and developer-ready content for user stories in the squad backlog and facilitate alignment of delivery teams with businesses/user groups.
• Translate and explain the “What” so that IT engineers can determine the appropriate “How.”
• Structure, simplify, and solve issues on processes and systems. Lead end-to-end refinement and solution design sessions.
• Work independently and ensure that implications of decisions are thought through and addressed.
• Create an environment of open dialogue that encourages expertise development through collaboration and idea-sharing.
• Accumulate and collect knowledge, keep it up to date, and make it accessible for all parties. Take initiatives for sharing knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years background in Financial Markets and/or Treasury.

• Skills/knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
  • Experience in Financial Markets or Risk Management.
  • Proven experience with Market Data (usage, sourcing, transformation, governance).
  • Good understanding of Financial Markets products and their data needs.
  • Affinity or interest in IT and technology-driven environments.
  • Experience with product or project management is a plus.
  • A problem-solving mentality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (in English) across various levels of expertise and seniority.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment.

• Languages: English (excellent level)

• Education: Completed education at Bachelor/Master level
