About the Position
Cyber Security Analyst (m/w/d)
medatixx GmbH & Co. KG, a leading provider of practice software and IT services for outpatient medical facilities in Germany, is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join their team in Eltville am Rhein or Frankfurt am Main. This role involves enhancing IT security and protecting against cyber threats in a dynamic healthcare IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, process, and resolve IT security incidents
- Drive the development and optimization of anomaly and cyber attack detection
- Conduct threat-hunting activities and implement technical security projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT security
- Proficiency in computer forensics
- Strong analytical skills for security incidents and evidence collection
- Experience with SIEM solutions, particularly Microsoft Sentinel, is advantageous
- Knowledge of IDS and IPS platforms is desirable
- Certifications such as Ethical Hacking or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
- Fluent German skills (minimum C1 level)
