Cyber Security Internship, CITIS (Customer IT Infrastructure Solutions) - Spring 2027

Are you passionate about cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and helping organizations strengthen their security posture? Do you want hands-on experience in a global company where security, compliance, and modern infrastructure are essential for delivering reliable solutions to customers worldwide?

We are looking for interns to join our Customer IT Infrastructure Solutions (CITIS) department at BEUMER Group. As part of the team, you will work alongside experienced specialists and gain practical experience with cybersecurity, hardening, compliance, automation, and infrastructure technologies in international customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting cybersecurity assessments and compliance activities based on frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks and IEC 62443
• Participating in hardening and security improvement initiatives for servers, databases, virtual environments, and infrastructure platforms
• Assisting with vulnerability management, security reviews, and risk mitigation activities
• Developing and improving technical documentation, security guidelines, and operational procedures
• Working with automation tools such as PowerShell and Power Automate to streamline security and infrastructure processes
• Supporting customer projects involving Microsoft, VMware, SQL Server, and cloud technologies
• Collaborating with specialists across cybersecurity, infrastructure, operations, and project teams

Requirements

• Passion for cybersecurity and IT infrastructure
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, IEC 62443)
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (PowerShell, Power Automate)

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of Microsoft, VMware, SQL Server, and cloud technologies
