Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist (m/w/d)

Responsibilities
- Threat Identification and Assessment: Proactively monitor dashboards and alerts, analyze log files, classify, analyze, and escalate security incidents as necessary.
- SOC Report Generation: Create daily and weekly SOC reports and define and document KPIs.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement efficient (cyber) threat intelligence strategies.
- IT Security Infrastructure Support: Support and enhance the IT security infrastructure in the threat intelligence domain (SME environment).
- Technical Support: Provide operational support for technical security issues.
- Vulnerability Analysis: Conduct vulnerability analyses and develop solution concepts for networks, servers, and client systems.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate and analyze security incidents.
- Travel: Occasional travel required.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in IT Security/Computer Science, IT Specialist training, or a comparable qualification.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in CTI/threat intelligence methods and tools.
- Extensive practical experience in a similar role.
- In-depth understanding of threat scenarios, prioritization, and attack vectors.
- Strong knowledge of IP networks (OSI model).
- Good administrative skills in Windows and Linux operating systems, including hardening (e.g., according to CIS benchmarks) and log analysis.
- Confident communication and presentation skills, and good English proficiency.
