About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CyberArk Engineer to join our cybersecurity team in Brussels, Belgium. This role is a hybrid position, requiring the candidate to be present at the client’s office at least 8 days per month.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the CyberArk infrastructure and its products, infrastructure incident management (L2 support), security patching, and ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's privileged access management infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage CyberArk solutions to meet organizational security requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support on incident management as L2 support for CyberArk production infrastructure and its components.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation strategies, and implement necessary controls if necessary.
- Monitor and maintain CyberArk infrastructure, including servers, databases, and other components, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability.
- Handle handover of the implementation of CyberArk solutions, including installation, configuration, and integration with other systems and applications and deployment into production.
- Support on the project’s technical issues related to CyberArk infrastructure if required.
- Implement and enforce privileged access management best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats, and recommend appropriate measures to enhance security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, network security, and compliance, to ensure alignment of security initiatives and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Support the CyberArk infrastructure OS upgrades, on various technologies (Linux, Windows, and Mainframe) as part of vulnerability management and security patching.
- Watch-duty (on call) support at a later stage is expected.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CyberArk Certified Defender, CyberArk Certified Sentry) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a CyberArk Engineer, in particular managing CyberArk infrastructure is a must.
- In-depth knowledge of CyberArk Privileged Access Security Suite, including Password Vault, Admin Console, Central Policy Manager, and Privileged Session Manager.
- Strong understanding of privileged access management concepts, principles, and best practices.
- Knowledge of PSMP and Linux OS is highly recommended.
- Experience with integrating CyberArk solutions with other security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IAM, and PAM solutions.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, authentication mechanisms, and encryption technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Scrum/Agile Methodologies.
- Experience working in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- Proficient in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automation and customization of CyberArk solutions is a plus.
Language Skills
- English (C1). Knowledge of French or Dutch is considered a plus, but not a strict requirement.
