What we are looking for:
We currently have an open position for a Cybersecurity Consultant who wants to join GFT to participate in high-impact technology projects, evaluating the security of solutions, analyzing risks, and contributing to the design of secure controls and architectures in complex and regulated environments.
We are looking for a client-oriented person, with analytical skills and a global vision of cybersecurity, who wants to develop in a multicultural, innovative, and highly collaborative environment, working directly with technical teams and end clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform security design evaluations and risk analysis in different technological environments.
- Carry out threat modeling activities, risk identification, and propose mitigation measures.
- Evaluate solutions and architectures against internal policies, security standards, and best practices.
- Design and select security controls, as well as validate their correct application.
- Execute gap analysis, evidence collection, and documentation of results.
- Prepare clear and client-oriented security reports and improvement proposals.
- Apply security criteria in different domains:
- Infrastructure layer
- Application layer
- SDLC / tooling / software supply chain
- Data protection
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Participate in demand management flows, prioritizing tasks, and adapting to changes.
Requirements
- General knowledge of cybersecurity, with a focus on:
- Security design
- Risk assessment
- Threat modeling
- Knowledge of security standards and best practices, such as ISO 2700X, NIST, or other similar frameworks.
- Ability to perform security audits and assessments, including:
- Evaluation against policies and standards
- Risk analysis
- Documentation and reporting
- Functional knowledge of the main security domains:
- Infrastructure
- Applications
- SDLC / supply chain
- Data protection
- IAM
- Client-oriented profile, with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice to Have
- Medium or high knowledge (specialization) in at least one of the following areas:
- Infrastructure
- Applications
- SDLC / Tooling / software supply chain
- Data protection
- Identity & Access Management
- Good organizational skills and experience participating in environments with high business and client interaction.
