About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and work with complex healthcare data, supporting operational and compliance needs with a focus on provider network regulations. This role is focused on data access, analysis, and reporting rather than data engineering or platform architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data across large healthcare datasets
  • Use Python for scripting, automation, and data manipulation to support analytical tasks
  • Interpret healthcare regulations, particularly those related to provider networks, and translate them into query logic, business rules, and reporting output
  • Translate complex business logic and rule sets into functional queries and analytical solutions
  • Review and optimize existing scripts and queries to improve performance and accuracy
  • Lead small projects focused on operational and process improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and business teams to align data output with regulatory and operational requirements
  • Handle incident management for routine operational and data-related issues
  • Implement temporary workarounds while contributing to permanent solutions
  • Document incidents and produce reports to support process improvements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field
  • Expert-level SQL skills with a strong ability to understand, structure, and interpret complex datasets
  • Working proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis tasks
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and apply healthcare regulations, particularly those related to provider networks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings and collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with healthcare data is preferred
