About the Position

Data Analyst (Mensch) mit dem Schwerpunkt Go-to-Market & Insights

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Employment Type: FULL_TIME

Posted Date: 2026-10-13

About the Role

At Event Inc, we believe in making decisions based on data. From our go-to-market strategy to conversion optimization, data drives our decisions in marketing, sales, and product. As a Data Analyst with a focus on Go-to-Market & Insights, you will be the central point for data analysis across our entire value chain. You will be part of our Product Team, working closely with our Data Engineers. You will support initiatives from initial exploration to recommendation and impact measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor our GTM performance across marketing, sales, and product, from funnel analysis to channel performance and conversion rates.
  • Actionable Insights: Provide ad-hoc analyses for our teams, always with concrete action recommendations instead of just reports.
  • From Idea to Impact: Together with the teams, you will develop hypotheses and translate them into experiments and A/B tests. You will measure the impact of measures with before/after comparisons.
  • Pattern Recognition: Conduct cohort and funnel analyses across customer segments and marketplace areas (e.g., Pharma vs. Automotive). With win/loss analyses in enterprise deals, you will provide valuable input for our sales enablement.
  • Optimizing Traffic Channels: In close coordination with marketing, sales, and product, you will optimize our traffic channels, e.g., with regard to SEO/GEO performance and content effectiveness.
  • Smart Automated Reporting: Together with a Data Engineer, you will build an AI- and automation-supported reporting infrastructure. This way, your time will be spent on analysis and recommendations instead of manual data preparation.
  • Key Interface: You will be the central data source for GTM decisions and work directly with our CPO.

Requirements

  • Solid Foundation: You have successfully completed a degree or equivalent training in Data Science, Statistics, (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • Experience Matters: You bring 2–5 years of professional experience in data, business, or product analytics. You are familiar with marketing, sales, or marketplace funnel metrics and tracking.
  • Analytical Toolkit: You have solid knowledge in data analysis and statistics and know how to develop meaningful KPIs.
  • Data in Plain Language: You derive concrete, understandable recommendations from numbers and communicate them in a way that every team can use them.
  • Structure Even When Busy: You work independently and keep track, even when multiple teams need something from you at the same time.
  • Tech Curiosity: You understand code and write it yourself (e.g., Python). Ideally, you have already created analyses using coding agents or set up automated, AI-supported reporting. This is not mandatory but a big plus.
  • Language Skills: You speak fluent German and English.

What We Offer

  • Team Spirit That’s Fun: Look forward to a motivated, highly qualified team with flat hierarchies and real cohesion. Plus, there are regular team events like after-work drinks on the rooftop terrace, culture nights, or game nights.
  • Be a Frugal: Benefit from exclusive discounts on top brands and travel via PepXpress and Corporate Benefits.
  • Well Taken Care Of: Of course, the obligatory fruit basket, a muesli bar, and cold and warm drinks are available to you at all times.
  • Individual Hardware Choice: You decide whether you work with a Mac or a Windows device.
  • Working Hours: Each team has its own rhythm – but generally, our core working hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and we meet in the office 4 times a week. You shape the rest according to your rhythm.
  • Office with Wow Factor: You work with a view of the Elbe and some of Hamburg’s most beautiful sights.
  • Pick Your Perk: You choose between 20 € Benefitsy, 20 € subsidy for the Germany Ticket, or 20 € subsidy for Urban Sports.
  • Growth: We support your development with a learning budget of 300 € per year.
  • Planned for the Future: You receive up to 100 € monthly for your pension and asset goals (bAV & VWL).

With just a few clicks, companies can book the coolest locations for their next event – whether it’s Christmas parties, training sessions, or meetings.
