About the Position

Data Analyst - mid or senior level (F/M/X)

At ablefy, we believe that passion can turn into a career for anyone! With our cloud-based SaaS platform solution, ablefy.io, we offer an easy and efficient way for everyone to create and sell digital products and online courses. More than 70,000 entrepreneurs have already placed their trust in our expertise!

Our mission is to build software that empowers everyone to start, run, and grow a successful digital business - borderless. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping both our internal analytics and the customer-facing data products we bring to market. This includes delivering business-critical insights and reports, working on our AI-powered self-service analytics agent and the intelligence layer that powers agentic, data-driven product recommendations for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for key analytics initiatives across the business, owning projects end-to-end and ensuring insights are translated into decisions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand business and customer workflows, challenges & goals, and translate these into meaningful analytics solutions.
  • Design and build customer-facing data products - from embedded dashboards and reports to AI-based self-service analytics tools and our intelligence layer - empowering internal stakeholders and our customers to make smarter, data-driven decisions more efficiently.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define and track KPIs, assess opportunities, and prioritize projects with the largest impact.
  • Drive experimentation and deep quantitative analysis - from A/B testing to customer behavior deep dives - to support product strategy and feature prioritization.
  • Contribute to the development of our data warehouse and ensure scalable, consistent metrics across the company.

Requirements

  • Strong quantitative background and 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Proven experience with product analytics and experimentation.
  • Exposure to AI-driven analytics products or LLM applications (e.g. self-service analytics agents, chatbots, and dashboarding tools). Hands-on experience is a plus, but curiosity and the ability to learn are essential.
  • Experience with product and business event tracking - including defining business events, understanding product flows, and identifying the signals that drive meaningful analytics.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar) and an interest in applying them to build and iterate on data pipelines, models, and analytics products more efficiently.
  • Great knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python for analytics and statistics.
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness - able to simplify complex insights, prioritize based on customer and business impact, and manage diverse stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Experience building or contributing to customer-facing data products is a plus (embedded analytics, data APIs, or AI-based self-service tools).
  • Experience in fintech domains - such as payments, PSPs, and checkout is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.

We Offer

  • Paid time off – 30 vacation days.
  • A competitive salary.
  • A personal training and development budget of €1,500 per year.
  • Responsibility and trust from day one.
  • Individual coaching and further training to support you in your development.
  • A free BVG ticket.
  • Employee discounts at numerous companies (e.g. at the gym or in online stores).
  • Pension program with company match up to 30% of employee contributions.
  • A culture of equity and inclusion where you are appreciated for the person you are.
