Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Supporting the centralization of financial data analytics.
• Working closely with the Finance Team to automate existing reports.
• Performing complex analyses leveraging advanced analytical techniques and data environments.
• Designing and implementing reporting solutions in conjunction with the reporting team.
• Working with various stakeholders to gather requirements related to reporting and analytics.
• Enabling users to make data-driven decisions by presenting data and analysis in a clear and concise manner.
• Supporting troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing reports.

Requirements

• Proper education in IT, Informatics, Econometrics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts.
• Practical knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL process, and tools (SSIS).
• Good knowledge of T-SQL (querying data), experience with analytical functions, and stored procedures will be an asset.
• Previous experience with Data Visualization Tool – Power BI (or other) and related languages like DAX or M.
• Advanced in MS Excel.
• Previous experience in the use of SAP.
• Knowledge in Essbase, R, or Python is a nice to have.
• Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Understanding of forecasting and budgeting processes will be an asset.
• English language proficiency is a must, both verbal and written.
