We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Courier Fraud team, driving the design, monitoring, and implementation of our global anti-fraud and risk mitigation strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own and define the global courier fraud strategy across all Glovo markets, ensuring consistent implementation and continuous improvement.
- Proactively address key courier-related challenges at local, regional, and global levels.
- Develop scalable self-service dashboards and monitoring tools that empower local teams to act on quality-related insights.
- Perform deep-dive analyses to identify the drivers of quality gaps and propose clear, actionable solutions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on courier quality performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Develop analytical models and frameworks to monitor fraud risks, predict potential no-shows, and optimize fleet distribution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Fraud Prevention, Product, and Data teams to align strategies and ensure impact.
- Step into the shoes of the couriers-understanding their pain points and motivations-to design data-informed solutions that drive both courier satisfaction and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Project Management, Business Analytics, or any data-driven domain.
- +3 years of work experience providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions and proven experience in acting on those insights.
- Strong analytical and coding skills: Good proficiency in SQL and Excel (or extensive coding experience), and experience with BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
- Strong strategic vision and business mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Comfortable breaking down complex problems into solutions.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth and high-performance environment, dealing with ambiguity while maintaining a positive mindset.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English is a must).
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
