Data Analyst

About the Position

Bitdefender, a cybersecurity leader, is seeking a Data Analyst passionate about transforming data into actionable insights and supporting business decision-making. This role bridges data, technology, and business, demanding strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective stakeholder collaboration.

As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with technical and business teams to understand their needs, translate requirements into scalable analytical solutions, and drive better decisions through data products, reporting, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Creating and Maintaining Reports and Dashboards: Utilize Power BI to create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support business decisions.
• Partnering with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions to understand challenges, opportunities, and data needs.
• Defining and Implementing Solutions: Work with analysts from other departments to define and implement solutions for new reporting needs and offer support regarding data inquiries.
• Translating Data into Insights: Leverage analytical applications to translate data into stories and explain the meaningful conclusions of the analysis in written, verbal, and visual forms.
• Ensuring Data Quality: Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across reporting and analytical solutions.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, data accessibility, and decision-making through analytics.

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant analytical experience in a Data Analyst/Reporting Analyst/Business Intelligence Developer position.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregations, CTEs, and performance optimization.
  • Previous experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Business Acumen: Excellent business acumen and the ability to connect data insights to business outcomes.
• Communication: Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Nice to Have

• Data Modeling: Experience with data modeling concepts and dimensional models.
• ETL/ELT Processes: Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing principles.
