About the Position

EPAM is growing its Media & Entertainment industry practice, and we are looking for a Consultant to help media companies unlock the value of their data and put AI to work in meaningful ways. This role sits at the intersection of delivery, innovation, and business development. You will work with broadcasters, streaming platforms, content owners, publishers, and sports organizations on some of the most consequential data and AI challenges in the industry: content intelligence, audience analytics, personalization, operational automation, and GenAI adoption. If you want to be at the intersection of media strategy and modern data and AI engineering, this is the role.

Responsibilities

  • Apply deep knowledge of data architecture solutions spanning cloud data platforms, streaming data, data lakes, lake houses, and analytics layers relevant to M&E use cases
  • Analyze client data ecosystems platforms, pipelines, governance models, and analytics maturity
  • Develop transformation roadmaps and next-generation architectures aligned to client needs and emerging industry standards
  • Apply working knowledge of modern data and AI tooling (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP data services, vector databases, LLMs, ML pipelines) to design practical, scalable solutions
  • Shape and support AI/ML implementations including recommendation engines, content tagging and metadata intelligence, audience segmentation, demand forecasting, and GenAI-powered workflows
  • Analyze and stay current on emerging data and AI trends in M&E (e.g. synthetic media, AI-driven personalization, content supply chain automation, rights and metadata intelligence) and translate them into actionable client strategies
  • Lead and support engagements end-to-end: work planning, requirements documentation, stakeholder workshops, stakeholder management, solution design, deliverable ownership, and team oversight
  • Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle and provide alternative recommendations when needed to keep objectives on track
  • Build trusted relationships with mid- to senior-level business and technology stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver client presentations, workshops, and written work products that translate complex data and AI concepts into clear business language
  • Quickly assess client challenges and engage cross-functional partners to develop the right solutions
  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks with sound judgment on when to escalate to senior leadership

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for technology and business in the Media and Entertainment space
  • Strategic and resilient, with the interpersonal intelligence to build trust with clients and colleagues
  • Self-starter who brings an innovative spirit and strong work ethic to every engagement
  • Balance of analytical rigor (IQ) and client awareness (EQ); know when to push and when to listen
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large and complex datasets
