About the Position

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic and operational delivery of Data & AI engineering engagements, taking accountability from architecture and build through production deployment and sustained client impact.
Work directly with client executives and technology leaders to shape ambitious but executable Data & AI roadmaps and resolve critical architectural and delivery decisions.
Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams building scalable data platforms, backend services, AI applications, LLM and agentic systems, and cloud-native infrastructure.
Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, reliability, scalability, governance, usability, and cost while remaining focused on real business outcomes.
Create an environment of rapid, disciplined iteration with clients and users, using field feedback to improve solutions and delivery approaches.
Own portfolio quality, staffing, profitability, client satisfaction, technical standards, and the development of engineering leaders.
Drive business development, strategic proposals, reusable assets, partnerships, and the continuous evolution of OMMAX Data & AI Engineering offerings.

Requirements

Hold an outstanding degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
Bring several years of relevant professional experience in data engineering, AI engineering, or backend development, ideally in a consulting environment.
Demonstrate strong expertise in building scalable systems and working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Have hands-on experience with modern data architectures, APIs, and the integration of AI and LLM components.
Be highly proficient in Python and experienced in building production-grade applications.
Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
Work in a proactive, team-oriented manner and take ownership of your responsibilities.
Be fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
