About the Position
We are seeking a Data Annotator / Annotation Operations Specialist to join our team. This role requires strong attention to detail and experience with image, video, or sensor data annotation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency while working on repetitive annotation tasks over extended periods.
- Quickly understand new annotation guidelines and the reasoning behind them, enabling appropriate judgment when edge cases require flexibility.
- Identify ambiguous scenarios and recommend improvements to annotation guidelines.
- Review annotation quality and provide feedback to improve consistency across the team.
- Review, resolve conflicts, and approve GitHub annotation pull requests and maintain a clean version history.
- Support annotation release management by ensuring changes are properly reviewed, tested, and documented.
- Monitor and troubleshoot GitHub Actions workflows related to annotation releases and configuration validation.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality during highly repetitive work.
- Experience with image, video, or sensor data annotation.
- Ability to learn complex annotation guidelines quickly and understand the rationale behind them.
- Good judgment in handling edge cases while maintaining annotation consistency.
- Experience using GitHub for version control.
- Comfortable creating branches, submitting pull requests, resolving merge conflicts, and reviewing code or configuration changes.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience writing or improving annotation guidelines.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data analysis tools.
