About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to design and optimize data architecture and processing systems for our clients in Amstelveen, NL.

Responsibilities
- Design conceptual, enterprise, and logical data models across multiple domains.
- Define and select appropriate data platform technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
- Architect scalable and cost-efficient data pipelines using e.g. SQL, Python, and dbt.
- Align data architecture with enterprise systems and anticipate future changes (e.g., CRM or ERP migrations).
- Collaborate on ML and AI architecture, supporting technical solutions for advanced analytics.
- Integrate governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview) and define lineage and metadata management patterns.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with emerging trends in data engineering and analytics.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience with minimum 4 years of experience in data architecture roles.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align data initiatives with business goals.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
