We are currently seeking a Data Architect to join our company. We are looking for someone with a solid background in data science, capable of leading teams or designing analytical strategies and guiding the implementation of advanced solutions for our Center of Excellence (CoE) AI.DA.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing, and evolving the organization's data architecture, ensuring that data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption systems are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Designing and maintaining data reference architecture (in batch and streaming environments).
• Defining data ingestion (CDC, API, streaming), storage (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse), and orchestration strategies.
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and availability throughout its lifecycle.
• Leading the adoption of data integration patterns and frameworks (ETL/ELT, Data Mesh, Event-Driven).
• Collaborating with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define data models and exploitation needs.
• Overseeing data security, governance, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, access policies, cataloging).
• Evaluating new technologies and proposing improvements in performance, cost, or maintainability.
• Providing technical leadership and coaching.

Requirements

• Professional experience of more than 7 years in projects as a Data Architect.
• Design of distributed and scalable architectures.
• Batch and streaming processing.
• Data integration (CDC, APIs, queues, messaging, ETL/ELT).
• Data Lake / Data Warehouse / Lakehouse / Data Mesh patterns.
• Principles of data security, governance, and quality.
• Relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• High level of English (B2/C1) valuable for collaborating on international projects.

• Cloud Platforms: Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Event Hub), AWS (Glue, Redshift, S3, Kinesis), GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Data Processing: Spark, Databricks, Flink, Beam, Airflow.
• Databases and Storage: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Delta Lake, Parquet, BigQuery.
• Ingestion and Streaming: Kafka, Debezium, NiFi, AirByte, Event Hub, Pub/Sub.
• Governance and Catalog: Unity Catalog, Collibra, Anjana, OpenMetadata, Purview.
• Containers and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Languages: Python, Scala, Java, SQL.
