DATA ARCHITECT

We are looking for a Data Architect, with whom we will create progressive products used by thousands of Ukrainians.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Hybrid Data Platform architecture, which combines On-premise and AWS-managed services under the roof of single Data Governance, DataOps, DataFinOps processes;
• Create Data Products in the Data Mesh paradigm for various domains of the Fozzy Group eco-system in close cooperation with stakeholders;
• Establish and assist in the implementation of high-level principles and methods for Data Products, creating Data as a Product culture;
• Play an active role in generating new concepts and innovative activities within the eco-system;
• Create High-Level Architecture (HLA) documents and align them with the overall architecture companies;
• Work with clients to discuss and demonstrate HLA, both at the technical and business level;
• Keep knowledge about products, their architecture, and design.

Requirements

• 3+ years in love with IT within experience as an architect;
• Know everything about Big Data: analysis, storage, and processing;
• Extensive experience working with AWS services and developing systems based on them;
• Experience building Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh-based or similar systems;
• Thorough experience in building complex, ready-to-load ETL, ELT, CDC processes using various architectures (classical, Lambda Architecture, Kappa Architecture, etc.) and tools (dbt, AWS DMS, Glue, Athena, Apache Spark, etc.);
• A clear understanding of the benefits of applying Data Governance practices;
• Experience in building systems within the framework of various architectural approaches (n-tier, monolith, microservices, etc.) with the use of various stacks (.Net, Node.js, Python, or similar);
• On-Prem as knowledge, Cloud-first as a work philosophy;
• In-depth Data Quality, DataOps as a culture you follow;
• Practical skills in optimization, renovation, and refactoring of existing Data Warehouse systems; experience in documenting architecture, and designing within the framework of relevant frameworks and notations (UML, C4, TOGAF, DoDAF, ITIL, 4+1, etc.).
