About the Position
askblue, a company born in 2013, specializes in information technology services. We are currently seeking a Data Architect Senior to join our team in Lisboa, working in a hybrid model.
The professional will work across Data Owners, Data Stewards, technical teams, and business areas, promoting the consistent adoption of Data Governance and Data Quality practices in modern data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the Data Governance and Data Quality Framework;
- Define methodologies, rules, dimensions, metrics, KPIs, and Data Quality monitoring processes;
- Produce standards, guidelines, patterns, and best practices for Data Governance and Data Quality;
- Plan and execute strategic initiatives, from solution requirements and design to implementation and adoption;
- Define and monitor KPIs and reporting mechanisms on the maturity, adoption, and effectiveness of implemented practices;
- Promote engagement and enablement of Data Owners, Data Stewards, technical teams, and business areas;
- Develop documentation, materials, and training sessions;
- Guide multidisciplinary teams and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management, or similar;
- Solid experience in Data Governance and Data Quality;
- Experience in Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Quality;
- Experience with Data Governance and/or Quality tools;
- Knowledge of databases and analytical technologies;
- Knowledge of Data Lake, Lakehouse, and NoSQL storage architectures;
- Experience in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform;
- Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric and Databricks;
- Ability to define frameworks, standards, processes, and solutions for Data Governance and Data Quality;
- Experience in guiding teams and interacting with technical and business stakeholders;
- Experience in multidisciplinary, collaborative, or global environments;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English;
- Clear and effective communication;
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders;
- Analytical and structured thinking;
- Proactivity and autonomy;
- Commitment to continuous improvement;
- Ability to work in multicultural and distributed contexts;
- Strong commitment to the quality of deliverables;
- Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector (preferred);
- GDPR, data privacy, and protection (preferred);
- Organizational transformation projects (preferred);
- Agile methodologies (preferred);
- JIRA and Confluence (preferred);
- Spanish (preferred);
- Definition of Data Governance operational models (preferred);
- Experience in defining Data Quality and Governance metrics and KPIs (preferred).
Work Regime
- Hybrid (3 days per week in the office).
