About the Position
We are seeking a seasoned Data Consultant to join our team and deliver impactful solutions by aligning business objectives with data-driven strategies. In this role, you will empower organizations to harness the value of their data, uncover actionable insights, and achieve measurable outcomes. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges and create tailored data solutions that align with organizational goals
- Define performance metrics, establish desired outcomes, and track progress to ensure measurable success
- Partner closely with Solution Architects and Data Engineers to design and execute scalable, high-performing data strategies
- Lead consulting engagements and contribute to presales activities by showcasing expertise in analytics and understanding client needs
- Oversee and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and customer requirements
- Evaluate data quality and availability, and identify areas for improvement in governance and processes
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in data analytics, and integrate them into ongoing initiatives
- Assist with data integration, processing, and preparation efforts to ensure clean, reliable data for decision-making
- Communicate findings and strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, and ensure alignment among stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of experience in roles such as Data Analytics Consultant, Data Product Manager, or similar positions in consulting
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Track record of contributing to at least two full project life cycles or working across multiple phases of various projects
- Expertise in data platforms with a proven track record of delivering solutions like data lakes, analytics systems, and reporting tools
- Proficiency in SQL and Python with strong coding capabilities in both
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their associated data services
- Knowledge of data architecture, lifecycle management, and data product design principles
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience in data-driven initiatives
- Strong analytical abilities to simplify complex challenges and deliver actionable insights
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Certifications in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and predictive analytics solutions
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies for effective project management
- Capability to lead client-facing workshops, deliver presentations, and conduct training sessions
