About the Position
We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms to join our technology team in Gdansk, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for existing reports/dashboards
- Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of dashboards and reports
- Perform data integration into the tool, maintenance, and support
- Perform impact analysis and validation of existing production reports and universes after application and database upgrade
- Implement industry BI standards and best practices
- Proactively identify problems/issues/risks and provide solutions
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, debugging complex queries)
- Python or similar scripting language
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS preferred: S3, Athena, Glue)
- Understanding of data pipelines / ETL concepts
- Git / version control experience
- Strong analytical problem-solving
- Ability to debug data issues end-to-end
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with PySpark or large-scale data processing
- Exposure to Airflow / orchestration tools
- Understanding of data modelling and reporting datasets
- Experience working with JSON / APIs
