About the Position

Join our team as a Data Engineer to work on a large Data Warehouse (DWH) based on BigQuery. Your role will involve configuring semantic layers, adding new columns/views to serve business needs, and resolving data issues. There is also an AI Slack bot that uses DWH data extensively, along with a custom reporting platform.

Responsibilities

Creating and editing SQL views, writing complex SQL queries
Editing and maintaining reports in Looker
Working with Python and JavaScript code
Creating and maintaining CI/CD processes
Improving data retrieval for the AI Slack bot and other target systems
Supporting data replication from PostgreSQL to BigQuery

Requirements

3+ years of experience with Python and SQL
Experience working with any reporting system (Looker, Power BI, or Tableau)
In-depth understanding of data modeling
Claude Code - critically important: the client does virtually all the work in it
Experience with BigQuery, GCP, Postgres
Understanding of main data engineering techniques and principles
English level: Upper Intermediate or higher
