About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to work on data projects using Google Cloud Platform. Remote position.

Responsibilities

Provide consultancy to clients on the full data lifecycle using Google Cloud Platform (data ingestion, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization).
Design and implement large-scale, scalable data systems and processing pipelines.
Execute data migration and transformation projects.
Collaborate with the team to deploy Google Cloud products for key clients.

Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, creating, and implementing efficient data pipelines (streaming and batch).
Excellent knowledge of Python.
Experience in building and maintaining secure and scalable data warehouses and Data Lakes in the Google Cloud Platform environment.
Practical knowledge of BigQuery and Ab Initio.
Experience in designing corporate cloud solutions and managing projects.
Experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, and CI/CD.
Possession of the Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
Higher technical education.
Fluency in English.

Fluency in German.
Experience in technical consultancy.
Advanced skills in optimizing and tuning SQL for performance and cost.
Experience in building stream processing pipelines.
Experience in designing and developing Big Data solutions in the public cloud.
Experience in collaborating with Data Science teams, analysts, and software engineering teams.
