About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you’ll be part of a skilled team building a modern data platform that supports real-time analytics and enables crucial insights into fraud detection, compliance, and customer behavior. You’ll play a key role in developing reliable, scalable solutions that help the business innovate and grow.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing technical solutions for engineering, data, and business teams.
• Building, testing, and deploying infrastructure using automation and code.
• Writing documentation and tutorials, while supporting users with a range of technical skills.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including architecture and platform experts.
• Delivering high-quality software solutions that solve real business challenges.

The Team & Tech Stack

You’ll join a dynamic Data Management department composed of several teams. This position sits within the Datalake team, focused on building a state-of-the-art Big Data & AI platform for internal analytics users.

The team works with cutting-edge tools and technologies such as Azure Databricks, Delta Live Tables, Python, and Dbt.

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including structured/unstructured data and data lake environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Spark, and modern data engineering practices.
• Solid understanding of Cloud Computing, Containerization, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and database design.
• Strong analytical skills, a curious mindset, and a goal-oriented, team-focused attitude.
