About the Position
The company is seeking a motivated and skilled Data Engineer/BI Developer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for building the company’s data platform using various data sources and cutting-edge technology. Working within an agile team, you will play a key role in fostering a data-driven culture and enabling data-based decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Conduct BI development in a modern cloud environment
- Design and model databases
- Perform requirements analysis
- Develop new features and maintain existing ones
- Collaborate with other development teams and business functions to understand data needs and deliver solutions
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or BI development
- Proficiency in Data Modeling (e.g., Kimball or similar)
- Strong experience with SQL
- A keen interest in Data Engineering and Business Intelligence
- Post-secondary education in systems science, computer engineering, or related field
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
- Experience working in a cloud environment
Nice to Have
- Experience working in agile teams
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Platform or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of data integrations
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Looker or Power BI
